What We Stand For

We are a clan that tries to ensure that you can play a decent game most nights (from 9pm Eastern Standard Australian Time), without the frustrations a lot of zone games bring. Generally most games are played with existing members and occasionally non-clan people are invited to even up the numbers.

Using this method we know that teams are well balanced and that no "game spoilers" have been included. We all know that a fair few games on the zone and ESO end up being a disappointment as teams end up being completely unbalanced due to people over or understanding their skill level. Nowadays it is hard to judge how good a person is in both Conquerors and AOM. Rooks generally think they are inters if they can beat a fellow rookie, good inters often think they are just good rookies if they watch a recorded game of the Sheriff and the 2,4 error and smurfing mean that ESO ratings can't be relied upon to indicate a player's skill.

Playing with people you do not know just increases the chances of having unbalanced games or people having no loyalty to their team mates and just leaving the game if they personally are not going to well.

Playing with StaR_ you will have none of this. People will stick in with you till the end of the game. Nobody will resign if he personally is going badly while the rest of his team is going well. As long as there is a reasonable chance to win, our people will stick in there. This makes for some great games in which the balance of the game will flow from one team to the other.

The skill level in the clan goes from rookies to good inters, we always try to balance the teams in a way that will ensure a good game. For rookies this is a great advantage as you know you will have at least a couple of better players on your team that can help you out when you are in deep trouble.

Our members ages are from 16 - 50++ with a big contingent in the >30 range.

To improve game play we have introduced some basic Game Rules for both AOK and AOM.
